What to include for faster help
The most common issues in home cooking come down to heat level, cookware size, and ingredient differences. When you send a recipe question, add a few details so we can give a precise answer. Tell us whether you used a gas or electric stove, your pan type (stainless steel, nonstick, cast iron), and any substitutions. If you are asking about baking, include whether you used a scale and how you measured flour.
For Chile-inspired recipes, spice heat can vary a lot by brand and freshness. If a dish came out too mild or too spicy, tell us the chili type (or chili powder) you used. If you want a family-friendly version, we can suggest ways to keep the aroma and flavor while dialing back heat. For more general guidance, start with the Recipes hub and look for sauces and soups, which are great skill builders.
